Job Title: Associate Research Scientist

Job Description

The Associate Research Scientist will report directly to a Senior Research Scientist and handle all areas of solid-state research applied to API and early formulation development. This includes crystal form screening, single crystal growth, early formulation development, and all aspects of physicochemical characterization. The candidate will develop experimental designs and must actively communicate across multiple functional areas. The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

  • Possess a BS in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science or related field

  • Experience with a research project and report writing

  • Experience with fundamental physical organic principles

  • Display excellent lab skills with ability to quickly learn instrumentation

  • Display a high-level of innovation and practical ingenuity

  • A background in topics including thermodynamics, polymorphism, crystallization, API and formulation process development

  • Always diligent in scientific rigor displaying a high-level of integrity

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Crystal form screening, scale-up, full characterization

  • DSC, mDSC, TGA, KF, GC, HPLC, XRPD, PLM use and data interpretation

  • Single crystal growth and structure determination

  • HPLC method development

Job Title: Marketing Specialist/Manager

Job Description

Crystal Pharmatech is actively seeking a Marketing Specialist/Manager to direct and execute all marketing activities for our US-based business. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, this is a newly created, individual-contributor position.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ownership of Website content and presentation

  • Ownership of company Social Media Strategy and Execution

  • Drive content creation in collaboration with Company BD and RD teams

  • Manage Company outreach to generate new business

  • Manage Conference participation including vendor, attendee and presenter roles

  • Drive marketing Campaign strategy and execution

  • Collaborate with BD and RD to identify targets for outreach

  • Drive company Awareness, including Branding

  • Direct Positioning Strategies

  • Perform Competitive Analysis

  • Act as Product Manager, including price list maintenance

  • High level CRM management, Administrator experience a plus

  • Implement continuous improvement

  • Approx. 25% travel (post-covid)

  • This is a work-from home position. Preferred candidates will live within driving distance of Cranbury, NJ to facilitate attendance at scheduled on-site meetings. Outstanding candidates outside the region will be considered

Qualifications Requirements

  • B.S. (Required) M.S., Ph.D. (preferred) Chemistry or related discipline

  • 3 years (minimum) laboratory experience in pharma process research and/or development

  • 3 years (minimum) in a client-facing role for a pharma CRO or similar organization

  • 3 years (minimum) additional experience in content creation for a marketing team

  • Additional Requirements:

    • Extensive CRM Experience, preferably as SF Administrator

    • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills

    • Demonstrated professional Social media skills

Job Title: Senior Research Scientist

Job Description

The senior research scientist will report directly to the Head of US Research and Development.  The successful candidate will handle all areas of solid-state research applied to API with a strong emphasis on early formulation development.  The candidate will develop experimental designs directly as well as provide technical consultation. The candidate must actively communicate across multiple functional areas including process chemistry, analytical chemistry and physical chemistry. The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

  • PhD or MS in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical      Science or related field

  • Industry experience: 0-3 years of for      scientists with PhD degree, 3-5 years for MSc

  • A background in topics including      thermodynamics, polymorphism, crystallization, API and formulation process      development

  • Experience with polymorph screening, solid      phase characterization and selection, small scale crystallization

  • Experience with formulation strategies for      PK, GLP Tox and FIH studies

  • Display a high-level of innovation and      practical ingenuity.

  • Always diligent in scientific rigor      displaying a high-level of integrity

  • Project leadership and strong interpersonal      skills required to effectively collaborate with team members and clients and      set and manage expectations clearly.
